ISMM acquires PressMetal in Třinec

ISMM Group continues its dynamic growth and technological development. At the end of May 2025, the group expanded by acquiring PressMetal – CZ spol. s r.o., which now operates under the new name ISMM & PressMetal s.r.o.

This Třinec-based company was founded in 2002 by Mr. Josef Tvrdý and has long specialized in cold forming and stamping of metal parts, mainly for the automotive industry. It is equipped with modern machinery, automated and robotic workstations, its own tool shop, and a small welding facility. The company currently employs 80 people and reports an annual turnover of approximately CZK 140 million.

“By integrating this new aquisition into the ISMM Group, we not only gain new production capabilities but also a strategic advantage in efficiency and flexibility. We’ll be able to carry out key operations in-house, which will significantly reduce lead times and generate savings,” says Miloslav Cváček, Managing Director of ISMM Production & Business Cooperation s.r.o., who will also now serve as Managing Director of ISMM & PressMetal s.r.o. Vojtěch Tvrdý, son of the founder, remains part of the management team as a minority shareholder and co-director.

Following this acquisition, ISMM Group now comprises seven companies, employs around 700 people, and generates annual revenues exceeding CZK 1.7 billion. With this expansion into the Třinec region, the group further strengthens its presence in key industrial areas of the Czech Republic.
