New Laser in Jistebník: A Technological Leap Forward
Installation of the New High-Performance SENFENG SF4020GH5 Laser in Jistebník
In February of this year, we launched extensive preparations in Jistebník for a significant technological change – the relocation of our plasma cutting technology and the installation of a new laser cutting machine. The goal was to free up and prepare space for the high-performance SENFENG SF4020GH5 bevel laser, which brings a major qualitative advancement in the field of metal cutting.
A New Level of Efficiency
At the heart of this new technology is a powerful laser with a tilting head, allowing for angled cutting – a function that eliminates the need for additional beveling. Most parts can now be finished in a single operation. This significantly shortens the production cycle and improves workplace ergonomics. The machine arrived in Jistebník on May 20, followed by installation, testing, and preparation for commissioning, which will take place during the summer holidays. After that, operator training and a gradual production ramp-up will follow.
Done In-House – With Maximum Commitment
The installation was preceded by extensive modifications – clearing out the hall, floor renovation and repainting, adding safety features, and adjusting the crane track. All of this was handled entirely by our own employees, without a general contractor. A big thank-you goes to all those who participated in this effort for their outstanding work. Also in Město Albrechtice, where the relocated plasma technology has found its new home, it was necessary to prepare a suitable environment. The ideal solution proved to be a former storage area at the end of the assembly hall.
After demolishing a wall with windows, reinforcing the access road, and installing new industrial gates, the previously unused space became a fully operational production zone. Again – entirely in-house, thanks to the dedication of the local team. The dismantling, transport, installation, and commissioning of the plasma technology from Jistebník was also carried out in-house by our maintenance team, with final support from a specialized external company. This was the first relocation project of this scale our team had undertaken – and we succeeded entirely on our own.
