ISMM opened a new powder coating paint shop
On 15th June 2023 ISMM Production & Business Cooperation s.r.o. started the operation of a new powder coating paint shop at the ISMM plant in Město Albrechtice. The dimensions of the parts that we can process (powder-paint) are w2 x h3 x d7 m and up to weight of 2 tons.
The technological process includes blasting, automatic rinsing, alkaline degreasing, demi rinsing, nano passivation, coating booth with SAMES application technology and firing furnace, and everything is made to be done in semi-automatic mode. The construction lasted about 6 months, the total investment achieved almost EUR 1.5 million and will create 10 jobs in a two-shift operation. The ISMM new powder coating plant meets the most demanding technological, quality and ecological requirements.
With this new technology, ISMM Production & Business Cooperation s.r.o. is becoming a leader in surface finishing, as it is the fifth powder coating technology the company has added to its disposal. Practically, this investment enables the realization of further series projects of larger weldments with high-quality surface finish requirements and will increase ISMM’s overall flexibility and supplier performance. The technology is designed with the possible future addition of a e-coating line.
